Virus Removal

Viruses range from minor annoyances to destructive gremlins that can destroy your computer. With nearly 20 years' experience working with personal computers and expertise in all current Windows operating systems, as well as the special tools required, I can remove most viruses or reimage (reload the operating system) when virus removal is not possible. When the worst happens and the data on your hard drive is destroyed I can recover critical files for you in many cases.

Do not trust recovery of your critical files to the high school geek at the local office supply store! Consult a professional.

Spyware Removal

Like viruses, spyware can range from annoying to destructive, but with a twist: spyware can steal your passwords or credit card information resulting in identity theft. If you suspect a spyware infestation on your computer (sometimes manifested in numerous unwanted pop-ups) contact me right away.

PC Tune-up

Windows PCs typically get slower as the disk becomes "gummed up" with old registry entries and files. Access to the hard disk is slower as files become fragmented. Disk space is wasted on temporary files and other "cruft" that can be removed. I will examine your computer for all of these situations, take corrective actions, and make recommendations for how you can further improve your PC's performance without buying a new computer.

Don't run out and buy a new computer just because your old one has gotten slower - make it faster and put off that purchase for another year...or more!

PC Repair

Oops! I broke the LCD panel on my brand-new Acme 2000 notebook! Call me. I can fix most computer ailments, from motherboard replacement to replacing broken components. I work with notebooks, desktops, and servers. And if it will be cheaper to replace/upgrade the computer I will give you cash for your old computer.

Terms and Conditions

All repair work is performed at my office. I will arrange to pick up your computer at your home or business. Most virus removal and spyware removal work is completed within 72 hours. Repair of physical components may take up to 2-3 weeks depending upon parts availability. Turnaround on PC tune-ups is as little as 24 hours, orcan be performed on-site while you wait.

For virus removal, spyware removal, and repair work we will agree upon a maximum amount prior to beginning the repair. If after examining you computer I feel the work cannot be completed in that time I will return the computer to you with no service charge (pickup and delivery charge will still apply).

Pickup and delivery is only available in the Purcellville / Round Hill / Lovettville and the surrounding community. Outside of that area additional pickup / delivery charges may apply. Contact me for details.
